Mr. DiNunzio is a leader in the development and implementation of comprehensive programs, strategies, and policies to assess risk, manage crisis and deliver measurable results quickly. He comes from a career spanning over 23 years with the FBI, where he served in numerous executive, supervisory and investigative capacities overseeing operations in counterterrorism, cybercrime, and an array of white-collar and violent crime matters. At FBI Headquarters, Ray served as Assistant Section Chief of the Domestic Terrorism and Response Section, Unit Chief of the Confidential Services Unit, Supervisory Special Agent in the Financial Crimes Section, and Assistant Inspector in the Inspection Division. While a Supervisory Special Agent in the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Ray provided leadership over the FBI’s cybercrime, violent crime, public corruption, money laundering, and asset forfeiture programs. In the FBI’s Oklahoma City and Dallas divisions, he served as case agent on numerous complex and high-profile criminal investigations. Ray is FBI Inspection Certified and a graduate of the FBI Executive Development Institute.

Prior to coming to Alliance Security, Ray served six years as Director of Strategic Security for the National Football League, where he developed and directed global security strategies to protect NFL stadiums, clubs, and personnel worldwide. He led policy development and compliance for the prevention and response to threats against the NFL, including terrorism and damage to the League’s image, reputation, and brand. Prior to the NFL, Ray was appointed Assistant Inspector General for Investigations by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction [SIGAR] he created and led SIGAR’s Investigations Directorate, a group of more than 40 experienced federal law enforcement supervisors and special agents deployed strategically throughout Afghanistan and vital to important anti-corruption and law enforcement activities in the U.S., Afghanistan, Pakistan and United Arab Emirates. Based in Washington D.C., Ray worked closely with Congress and traveled throughout Afghanistan providing independent oversight for the prevention, detection, and prosecution of fraud, waste, and abuse relating to more than $120 billion in U.S. funds appropriated for the reconstruction of Afghanistan.

Ray spent the early part of his career in public accounting with EY and Deloitte. He has extensive experience in financial audit and consulting services, internal control evaluation, and risk assessment. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the professional designation Certified in Financial Forensics from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ray is a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, FBI Domestic Security Alliance Council [DSAC], American Society for Industrial Security [ASIS], Real Estate Roundtable Homeland Security Task Force [HSTF], and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants [AICPA]. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation [FEHSF]. Ray, his wife Peggy, and three sons contribute their time and resources to Donate Life America, Catholic Charities, and Honor Flight Network, which supports war veterans nationally.
