Marie Chindamo joined our team in 2017 as Chief Human Officer for the entire Alliance Building Services group. As CHRO, Ms. Chindamo provides strategic support related to securing, retaining, and leveraging our human capital.  Ms. Chindamo plays an integral role in launching an innovative and performance-driven culture while striving to establish Alliance Building Services as a leader in New York’s best Companies to Work.

With over 25 years of experience, Marie holds certifications with HRCI as a Global Human Resources Practitioner, with SHRM as a Senior Human Resources Practitioner, a New York State Accredited and Licensed Professional Coach, as well as a licensed practitioner and facilitator of Insights Discovery.  Marie navigated her way through the corporate world while adding value to each organization she touched. As the former EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment for six years, Marie oversaw employee relations and organizational development across the Brooklyn Nets, NY Islanders, Barclays Center, and the renovation of Nassau Coliseum. She facilitated the relocation, rebranding, and rebirth of the Nets culture during their 2012 move from New Jersey to Brooklyn.  Through this process, she designed a compensation structure and performance management program, implemented an extensive professional development program anchored to Jungian psychology using unique resources such as Insights Discovery, and teamed up with Disney Institute to co-author and execute a service excellence platform providing perpetual tools and training to over 2500 employees. Before her time in Brooklyn, Marie had spent four years leading the human resources and organizational development function for an international airline contracted to transport our U.S. military to remote locations across the globe.  The international responsibility required positioning human capital in high-risk cities and countries such as Nigeria, Kuwait, Bishkek, and Iraq.

Throughout her life, Marie has established herself as a loving mother and wife, dedicated executive, impactful coach, and, most importantly, an inspiration to all who refuse to settle. She is a life-long learner who eats, sleeps, and breathes personal and professional development, and is dedicated to guiding others through their challenges to achieve full potential.
